As an experienced product development agency based in Silicon Valley, Scalio was chosen as a partner to the Synthesis AI team to design the updated Synthesis Humans and Synthesis Scenarios synthetic data generator web applications. 

Our team of experts worked directly with Synthesis AI’s product leadership to create a modern and user-friendly interface that streamlines a complex user workflow capable of handling hundreds of thousands of output combinations. 

We designed and developed revolutionary new interfaces, combining the best of UI, UX, and engineering to bring our client’s vision to life. 

With our help managing activities and leading retrospective meetings, we ensured a seamless experience for Synthesis AI and delivered a product that fulfills product updates that serve their strategic Series A funding goals.
 

From Code-Only, to User-Friendly

Scalio supported the product design and frontend development of this ground-breaking platform; taking what was once a code-only input approach to an intuitive, seamless and dynamic user experience complete with a prefabricated template wizard, robust configurable inputs and a human character + environment preview engine.

Define and De-Risk a Complex Platform Experience

Given the complexity of the platform and its broad spectrum  of configurable inputs, the Design Team first needed to outline and map out the robust feature requirements against user personas, and then define these quickly for rapid feedback loops. 

User flows, wire-frames and simple UI mapping ensured the definition of feature ecosystem, identification of all edge cases, and risk mitigation of UX friction.

An intuitive on-boarding experience and prefabricated template wizard were designed to improve user adoption, while simple prototyping allowed the internal teams to validate the usability with internal company stakeholders.

Synthesis Humans - Designed & Built by Real Humans

Scalio was deeply involved in the development of one of the primary products for Synthesis AI - Synthesis Humans. 

Synthesis Humans utilizes generative AI and cinematic computer-generated imagery to programmatically generate synthetic images of humans with a large number of potential use cases across many industries. The program also allows you to change different aspects of the generated humans, such as emotions, body types and clothes. Our teams collaborated to assist in strategy, planning, design and engineering of this product.

Synthesis Scenarios - Generative AI Meets Cinematic CGI

Synthesis Scenarios is another product developed by Synthesis AI that allows for fine control of complex, multi-human simulations across numerous environments for machine learning model development. 

Scalio worked closely with the client on product discovery, wireframes and various aspects of design in order to deliver this groundbreaking product that combines generative AI with cinematic CGI pipelines for a range of applications, including AR/VR, metaverse, driver and passenger monitoring, pedestrian detection, and security systems. 

A Design System Built to Scale

A core mission of the Scalio Design Team was to empower the Synthesis Development Teams with a robust design system that could be utilized easily to create new functionality in the future. 

Built holistically using the full Atomic Design Methodology, we delivered countless components that serve as templates and building blocks to limitless UI combinations and functionalities.
