Pearl Automation, founded by a group of ex-apple employees, originated from the belief that all drivers should have access to the latest car features. Their featured product, RearVision, is an advanced backup camera and alert system that installs in minutes. RearVision enables a super-wide view of the area behind your vehicle in both day and night — with high-definition video streamed wirelessly to your phone — and is the first to provide feature enhancements through automatic updates. Pearl has secured $50mil in funding to date.
Scalio worked closely with the Pearl team to develop an advanced Android application for the RearVision platform. The application integrated seamlessly with the Vision hardware, and included such features as low-energy bluetooth connectivity, live video connection, and much more.
